Publication Etichis
To maintain the quality of manuscripts and avoid publishing violations/plagiarism in the publication process, the editorial board establishes the JEDUCHI-ISC (Journal of Educational Management and Educational Technology) scientific publication ethics. This publication ethics rule applies to authors, editors, peer-reviewers, and journal/ editorial management. The publication ethics refers to the scientific publication ethics regulations established by the COPE (Committee on Publications Ethic) standard.
Author Ethics
Reporting; authors must provide information about the process and results of their research to the editorial board honestly, clearly, and thoroughly while keeping their research data safe and secure.
Originality and plagiarism; authors must ensure that the manuscript submitted to the editorial board is original, written by themselves, sourced from their ideas and thoughts, and not copied from other people's written works or ideas. Authors are strictly prohibited from renaming the cited reference sources to other people's names.
Repeated submission; authors must inform that the manuscript submitted to the editorial board has not been submitted to another journal/publisher. If redundancy in manuscript submission to another publisher is found, the editorial board will reject the submitted manuscript.
Author status; authors must inform the editorial board that they have the competence or qualifications in a specific field of expertise relevant to the publication, which is library science. The author who submits the manuscript to the editorial board is the first author (co-author) so that if there are any problems in the manuscript publishing process, they can be resolved immediately.
Errors in manuscript writing; authors must inform the editorial board immediately if errors are found in manuscript writing, whether in the review or edit results. These writing errors include the writing of names, affiliations/institutions, quotations, and other writing that can reduce the meaning and substance of the manuscript. If this happens, the author must immediately propose to improve the manuscript.
Disclosure of conflicts of interest; authors must understand the above scientific publication ethics to avoid conflicts of interest with other parties so that the manuscript can be processed smoothly and safely.
Withdrawal of Manuscripts; authors are not allowed to withdraw the manuscript that has been submitted to JEDUCHI-ISC (Journal of Educational Management and Educational Technology). This is because withdrawing the manuscript wastes a lot of time, energy, and the process that has been sent to the publisher.
Retraction of Manuscripts. The manuscripts that have been published by JEDUCHI-ISC (Journal of Educational Management and Educational Technology) will be considered based on the Editorial Board's decision if they violate the publication ethics regulations, including (a) clear evidence of data falsification, (b) clear evidence that the manuscript has been previously published in other publishers, (c) clear evidence of plagiarism, taking other people's works and so on from other people, making it appear as if the work belongs to them. (d) Research that violates norms and ethics. Retracting manuscripts will publish a Corrigendum.
